MEET ALEX MILLER
Pale Horse CrossFitter and friend, Alex Miller, was diagnosed with Classic Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage II Cancer in 2018. Thanks to dedicated research, advancements, and funds, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma has become one of the more curable cancers. While receiving 12 chemotherapy treatments to fight off the blood disease, Alex continued to attend CrossFit classes and stay as active as possible. He beat cancer and continues to CrossFit throughout Charleston.
Over the years, Alex has partnered with Charleston gyms to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Charleston. In October 2018, Battling Bad Blood was created. This year, Pale Horse is excited to continue the event and host the fifth Battling Bad Blood fundraiser.
We invite everyone – friends, family, neighbors, non-crossfitters and experienced athletes to join us on October 1st to help raise funds for blood cancers.
